We strongly recommend you check your goods whilst the driver is still with you as this way he/ she will record details of the damaged goods at the time and we will be able to resolve matters for you much quicker this way. It is important that any damages are reported on the driver's delivery docket or handheld device.
As a general rule, the driver has 15 minutes alotted to each delivery so in most cases will have time for you to check the goods.
Please bear in mind that due to the nature of paving materials, it is quite possible for a small number of pieces to be damaged upon delivery and if this represents 10% or under of your total consignment, you will be able to use these to for cuts. It is usual practice to build 10% into the measurements for your project so a small number of breakages would form part of this margin.
If you do not notice damages until the driver has left, please ensure these are reported to us at the earliest opportunity, via email along with photographic evidence. In all cases, this must be within 7 days of delivery.
